Java Software Engineer
Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur
Salary is negotiable based on experience
Responsibilities:
Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
Provide technical expertise in analyzing and implementing systems and procedures to meet user requirements.
Perform system development & write efficient Java code for new software applications roll-out and system enhancement works.
Bug fixing and troubleshooting on Java applications to improve system functionality.
Assist in system integration, data migration and live implementation with project team.
Assist in application testing protocols.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
2-5 years of related working experiences.
Experience in Java EE programming tools/techniques (EJB, Web Services, Servlets, Spring MVC, Hibernate and JDBC), RDBMS databases (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, DB2 and etc).
Project experience on front-end application with Angular 5 & above, ReactJS and Bootstrap 4 & above.
Familiar with RESTFul APIs, Spring 5.x, Spring Boot, Spring Framework and Microservices.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design.
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Proactive and excellent problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in financial institutions or exposure in financial applications will be an added advantage.
